A Wonderful Fireworks Display

Ready to Watch Fireworks

- Very Tired Girl
We took a very long day trip on the Fourth of July. We traveled a bit south to celebrate with grandparents. Plus, the hour and a half drive is about perfect for our five kids at this point. ; ) All of the kids seemed to have a great time, outside of our oldest. That part was disheartening to me and my husband. After a fairly good week with her, she just ended up having a hard day with tummy issues and jealously/communication issues it seems. Anyway, we tried to stay positive. She did do okay at the parade and fireworks. I think she just wanted to GO places!
We got up Sat. morning at 6:30 am to leave for the day and arrived home Sunday morning at 12:30 am. We were exhausted, and to stay awake while driving home, my husband and I were eating some of the sour parade candy.
It worked. - Too Tired to Watch Fireworks

The family looks GREAT, Jen… and I like your hair! When I saw everyone in the minivan, I had a thought: I am told that there is a website where you can get seats to retrofit your van… A family I know actually did this when they had their 6th child. They bought a different seat on ebay to fit in their minivan… I never actually saw it, but she told me about it. They drove their minivan for a few more years before upgrading to the 12 or 15 passenger van.
It was fun for me to see Christopher- he is the same age as my Isaac, and they both have curly hair!
Also, the post above this mentions stomach flu… Just a reminder of my favorite remedy: Probiotics. If you can give the rest of the family some Kefir for the next 5-7 days, you should be good to go. Probably any time of probiotics will work, although the more active cultures, the better. Kefir would be the tastiest way to get your family to take it… Many many health benefits… but avoiding the stomach flu would be worth it. I will pray for everyone’s health… oh, and for your C-section too!

Your family is so precious. I know I have said it before, it’s true. You guys are so blessed. I almost forgot that you were pregnant until you mentioned it again. You look so happy and content.
